1. How do I get a WeeMee into AIM?

First make sure you've got the latest and greatest version of AIM - AIM 6.0. You can download it here. (Without version 6.0 you won't be able to see your WeeMee or your WeeMee background, and your WeeMee won't react.)

Then come back here to aim.weeworld.com, log in with your AIM password and build your WeeMee.

2. How do I get one of those cool animated backgrounds for my WeeMee?

Make sure you have AIM 6.0 installed and that you're logged in to AIM. Go to aim.weeworld.com, make any changes you want to your WeeMee and click 'Save.'
Pick a cool animated background and click 'Apply.'
Now when you go back to AIM and chat, your WeeMee is in its new background. You can also visit www.weeworld.com where you use your WeeMee to play games, send cards, or send your WeeMee to your blog or mobile phone. Just click 'Visit WeeWorld' on the last screen right after you apply your background.

3. Hey! My WeeMee just reacted while I was chatting in AIM. What's up and how do I make it happen again?

One of the best things about AIM WeeMees is that your WeeMee reacts to what you type, and those reactions can be seen by you and by the people you're chatting with.

We're not going to spoil the fun and tell you all the words that trigger reactions, but here's a few tips.try typing LOL, Kiss, or bling. Some words will even trigger special animations that happen in the background.

4. I see my friend's WeeMee, now how do I see mine?

In the AIM chat window, click on the down arrow next to the paint brush icon - it's on the right side above the text input box, next to the 'i' button. Choose 'Show My Expression' or 'Show My Buddy's Expression' on the pop up menu to switch back and forth between your WeeMee and your buddy's WeeMee.

5. How do I make animations happen in the background?

Try clicking on your WeeMee. And there's usually another animation hidden in the background as well. Mouse around and see if you can find it. Note that these animations are for your eyes only. They are not seen by your buddies.

6. What if I still can't find that hidden background animation?

Maybe you need to make the background bigger. Put your cursor on the bottom and side edges and click and drag the IM window. It'll stretch out. Now mouse around and track down that hidden animation spot.

You may need to make the chat area more transparent so you can see what's back there. Mouse over the top right of your background and a fader bar will appear. Drag the circle to dim the chat area and view your WeeMee in its full Technicolor habitat!

7. What if I want to change my WeeMee or my background?

Click on the WeeWorld logo under your WeeMee to link to aim.weeworld.com where you can change your look in thousands of ways.
